Da Siu Yan Privacy Policy

In one sentence: whatever name you write on the villain paper is yours alone. Every part of the Da Siu Yan ritual is processed on your own device and never uploaded to any server.
1. Who we are
This policy covers the Da Siu Yan website (dasiuyan.app), the web ritual and the iOS app, all operated by Twelvefold Limited (Hong Kong). Contact: hi@twelvefold.co.
2. The app and web ritual: everything stays on-device
- Everything you enter during the ritual — including the name on the villain paper, your prop choices and results — is processed and stored only on your device, and never transmitted to us or any third party.
- Your free-ritual balance and purchased credits are likewise recorded only on your device.
- We require no account, so we hold no account data about you at all.
- Deleting the app or clearing your browser data removes all of the above, completely.
3. This website: no ads, no tracking
This site runs no ads and no ad networks. Traffic analytics uses Google Analytics 4: page views, scroll depth and outbound clicks (such as clicks on the App Store link), with analytics cookies like _ga set by Google. This data is only used to understand how the site is used in aggregate and is never linked to anything you type in a ritual — the name on your villain paper never leaves your device. You can block analytics cookies in your browser settings or install Google's opt-out add-on.
4. Payments (web credit purchases)
Credit purchases on the web are handled by Stripe: checkout happens on Stripe's own page, and your card details go to Stripe directly — we never see or store them. Stripe has its own privacy policy for its services. Purchases inside the iOS app are handled by the Apple App Store, and we never touch your payment details there either.
5. Children
The product is a folk-culture ritual experience; it is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
6. Changes to this policy
Any updates will be posted on this page with the date above refreshed. Continued use means accepting the updated policy.
